We are all for making the set-up process a little easier. Here are some of the things we have added to our water connections to make setting up a little more streamlined!
While we do have only been doing this RV camping life for 5 years, we have found that there are just some items that are not only convenient, but are game changers for the ease of use in our coach. Here are some of our favorite finds for our fresh water connection. This post contains affiliate links and I may earn a commission from items purchased through these links.

Every camper knows that not all campgrounds are made the same when it comes to water. Some are good, clear tasting water while others are not so pleasant. Some sites have easy access to water connections on a beautifully paved or graveled site, others are a treck through the mud and weeds to then have to search for the connections. With this in mind we set out to compile a list of our favorite products to make setting up your freshwater connection just a little easier! We are going to walk down the line from the connection at the coach, back to the water source.
90° Hose Connection

When attaching your water filter to the outside connection on your coach you can come across with a few problems, one of which is when you connect a hose directly to your unit you end up with a kink in your hose. Then, if you choose to put the filter at the connection spot on your coach you end up putting a lot of pressure on your outside connections. In order to relieve the pressure on your hoses and keep water flowing properly we have found that this 90° hose connection has been an amazing addition to our filter system. https://amzn.to/3rCQt8I
Camco TastePure Water Filter

We have kept it on the simple side when it comes to water filters, and I will update this post when we change over to a new filtration system but for now our Camco TastePure is working great! This filter has kept our water tasting clean and pure without disrupting the flow to our rig. I highly recommend any filter when you are camping because you just never know what kind of water will be at the campsite and you would definitely rather protect both your investment and your body from getting exposed to any dirty water. https://amzn.to/41VxWkf
Hose Quick Connects

We have been using these quick connects for the past 3 years and let me tell you they have made such a difference! We put one on each end of the hose and to our filter and water pressure regulator and it has made setting up so much easier! No more struggling with hoses and trying to get them all connected where they need to be. With quick connects you can just pop them together and you're good to go! https://amzn.to/3Q3VxNn
Water Pressure Regulator

Protecting your investment is so important when it comes to your RV and there is not faster way to ruin your beautiful coach than to have water problems. One important way to protect from water damage is to always use a water pressure regulator that will ensure that the water entering the unit isn't exceeding the limits for the water system in your coach. There are a ton of options on the market ranging from super simple to super complex. We have found that this Camco water pressure regulator is the perfect fit for our needs. It is simple to install and has an easy screen to make sure you are in optimum water pressure range! https://amzn.to/3K5EuHb
There's more!
I feel like we are always saying "there's more!" when it comes to an RV or Travel Trailer. This time it is a simple addition to my list of water accessories.
Zero-G Drinking Water Hose

This Zero-G hose has helped in so many ways! Not only is it lightweight, but it is also kink resistant and wont crack while in the heat. We have really enjoyed our Zero-G hose and highly recommend it especially to anyone with limited storage space as it wraps up small! https://amzn.to/3IwrhGp
